Projects With Purpose teamed Microsoft Corporation with the Forest Cove Apartments and the Thomasville Heights Recreation Center.   During Microsoft's Convention in Atlanta, attendees left the convention center to volunteer.  In one day, Microsoft employees were able construct new playgrounds at the Forest Cove Apartment Complex, as well as paint  and landscape the Thomasville Heights Recreation Center. 

The Projects:

The original playground area was less than adequate and unsafe for the hundreds of children that live in the Forest Cove Apartment Complex.  In just one day of service, the children can now enjoy playing on multiple, brand-new playground sets, swing sets and teeter-totters. 

The Thomasville Height Recreation Center services nearly 5,000 area residents from early childhood to seniors.  The volunteers were able to create a welcoming environment for the facility by landscaping, painting, creating a stone walking path and installing horse shoe pits.
