The Louisville Convention and Visitors Bureau of Louisville, Kentucky joined Projects with Purpose for a Day of Service.
30 volunteers participated in the Bureau’s Day of Service.
St. Joseph Children’s Home, a residential treatment facility, has served Louisville’s most abused and neglected children since 1849. They provide therapeutic foster care and adoption services in addition to the home services.
The group of 30 painted one of the residential apartment areas including several wings and their media center. The group also built sheds for Habitat for Humanity.
It was a GREAT day for all and a very rewarding experience.
