To commemorate our progress, to kick start our next five years, and to honor everyone who has made our success possible, The Habitat for Humanity 5th Anniversary "Build - a - Thon" in New Orleans’ 7th Ward is building 5 homes in 5 days!  

Since the storm, thanks to the hard work and generosity of 100,000 volunteers and thousands more who donated to our building efforts, over 300 families have achieved their dreams of homeownership.    

The road to recovery remains a difficult journey, but with each new house foundation, each nail driven and house dedicated, we are rebuilding a better New Orleans. Projects With Purpose Volunteer Events and your partnership helps to create opportunity, stability and hope.
