ABC Supply spent their day improving Arise Academy, a Charter School located in the Upper Ninth Ward of New Orleans. Arise Academy was founded after hurricane Katrina and focuses on a rekindled dedication to quality early education for all children in New Orleans.

ABC volunteers painted classrooms, constructed an outdoor gazebo, installed over 100 coat racks, re-mulched the playground equipment area and repainted playground furniture and fixtures!!  The results were dynamic!

Each day, over 200 scholars in Pre-K through 2nd grade are enthusiastically working toward college preparation. A collective group of dedicated educators have accepted this challenge to build a school of excellence in what has been a historically underserved location and population. Every second of the day at ARISE Academy is utilized to maximize learning and empower New Orleans next generation.

ABC's Volunteer Event made a lasting contribution to one of New Orleans' most vulnerable populations and resulted in a financial equivalent easily in excess of $30,000!
